a. We will be staying at the previously recommended Adam Hotel on 19 September.
b. We will be partaking in a FREE two hour bike tour in Reykjavik on the morning of 20 September. Our guide is named Ursula.
c. After the bike ride, we will be shuttling it to the NLI, where we will check in and wait for all you fine folks - probably in the Blue Lagoon.
d. We are staying @ the NLI thru that Friday morning. So when all ya'll are leaving, we'll probably be waving good bye from the Blue Lagoon.
e. We will be hiring a car on the morning we check out... pick up is conveniently @ the NLI. Our plan, which still needs some further "tweaking", is to drive to Helka, then up to Geysir & then thru the National Park in Pingvellir and then back to the Airport in Keflavik (where we can conveniently return the car before boarding our plane back later that afternoon). We're still determining what sorts of accommodations we should expect out there...
OK, we've made some further modifications based on various logistical considerations... Our return will be on that Friday, not the Sunday and we're bailing on the car rental (at least for the time being).
I have several questions about the rest of the trip:
1. Are we still planning on going to Reykjavik as a group? If so, which day? Our concern is that we don't want to "OD" on Reykjavik...
2. Now that the dive seems to be extended, will we have quality Blue Lagoon time that night?
3. Where are we going on horseback...? Was there a link for the info? Will we see things like waterfalls...?
4. The "Bus Tour" for the 23rd... how does this fit in...? What is it? Or is it still "TBD"?
I may have asked you some or all of these previously, so excuse any redundancy....

We've made some real strides with our extended itinerary. More on this soon.
Excellent. I think the snorkling was for Monday. But we still haven't heard back from Tobias so nothing is set in stone.

Oops, it's "Hekla", not "Helka".
That's going to be quite the challenge I think. The actual volcano is way, way off the beaten path...

And seeing an active volcano will be pretty damn cool.

Ok, after looking at the home page, I think I have my answer for #3. That would be east of Grindavik, correct?
Perhaps we need to start a new thread for all my wacky queries...
