The suitcases are, for all intents and purposes, packed. And the cats have started using them as their new favorite sleeping spots and 'hide behind to pounce the other one' spots. Cats do love suitcases.
The final plans for meeting up and getting to the airport are all set. I think everyone knows what's going on. My cell number is 617-207-1563 if you need to reach me in the US. My cell does not work overseas.

And, thank you to everyone who is coming along on this expedition for Derek's birthday. When we envisioned this back in March 2008, we had no idea what it would look like, who would be coming, how the world would have changed in just that short amount of time. I know Derek is thankful for everyone who has taken these days to celebrate with him and to make this birthday one of the most memorable.
So, my final chant before I'm out the door and heading to the airport is "Tickets! Passport! Money!" Everything else is set decoration.
