Things We Probably Won't Do

Now, we won't dictate to others what they can/cannot do. You are all welcome to build any itinerary you choose. But here are a few items that are not on our list.

1) Loch Ness - It's actually kind of far from Edinburgh. We'd have to go on a big bus tour with other tourists. It would be a full day excursion to see a big lake. And let's face, that's a long time to explore the principle of science that states, "It's impossible to prove a negative." I think you all know what I mean. I'm sure the countryside would be lovely, but it doesn't seem like a good use of our time.

2) The Premier Inn allows you to pre-purchase 3 meals a day. Sure there is a cost savings, but it might be a bit sad to eat cheap hotel buffet in one of the capitals of the dining world.

3) We won't rent a car. It's a pain in the ass to do the other side of the road thing and the train system will serve us nicely.
