For last year's trip, Derek found it exeedingly enriching to have read Egil's Saga again. And for this trip, he's going to read at least one more saga, probably Njal's Saga.
If we go on the saga tours, reading one or two of the Icelandic Sagas will help stir the imagination.

I'm just waiting on final numbers to make plans.
We did do a poll on Saturday activities, but Derek's heart in on the saga tour and he is the birthday boy.
I'll try to keep updating as new and fun information presents itself.
