Well, I figure everyone got their email from Icelandair today. But I'll just post it here for those who may have missed it or are the victims of an over-active spamguard.
I guess this is just another reason to carry a little cash with you.

We at Icelandair are consistently striving to meet our passenger's needs. This year, all Icelandair aircraft will be installed with new entertainment systems and new seats with more legroom. In addition to these changes, we have introduced a new fare structure and cabin class, Economy Comfort.
On November 1, 2008, the meals offered on board will change as well. In conjunction with Stefán Viðarsson, the chef from the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica restaurant, we have developed a new in-flight menu that will be available for purchase. This change allows us to provide higher quality food and gives you more choices.
This email is to inform you that since we no longer offer complimentary meal service, sandwiches will be available, free of charge, for passengers who purchased their tickets prior to October 1, 2008.
Our new in-flight menu will also be available for purchase, if you choose.
We look forward to welcoming you on board and hope you enjoy our new line of services.
